Faculty and Instructional Staff

 Lesley Hobbs, Business Manager of the Kneaded Energy Companies.  Lesley runs the private practice of Kneaded Energy and acts as Registrar for the Kneaded Energy School of Massage, managing finances and student files.

  Sue Walker, LMBT, Lead Instructor.  Sue is a fulltime lead instructor and massage therapist.  Sue is the lead instructor in Somatic Communications, Massage Therapy 1 and 2, Hydrotherapy, Prenatal Massage and Student Clinics.

Phil Comstock, LMBT Instructor and Massage Therapist.  Phil teaches hands on classes with an emphasis on anatomy.


 Michael Dombroski, MBA, LMBT Instructor and Massage Therapist.  Michael teaches Anatomy and Physiology.

Janiese McKenzie, Science Instructor for Guilford County School System.  Janiese teaches both science classes to our evening students.

Stuart Spiers, DC Instructor and Chiropractic Doctor.  Stuart teaches MusculoSkeletal Sciences.

  Mary Ann Karlok, LMBT, Instructor and Massage Therapist.  Mary Ann teaches Ethics and NC Law and is a lead supervisor in Student Clinic.

  Patty Richardson, LMBT Instructor and Massage Therapist.  Patty teaches hands on classes with Sue and Bill.  Patty also supervises our students in Student Clinic.

Teri Masten, RN, LMBT Instructor and Massage Therapist.  Teri teaches hands on classes with Phil and Sue.

  Lydia Whitley, BS, LMBT.  Administrative Assistant to the Co-Program Directors, Student Advisor, Instructor and Massage Therapist.  Lydia manages student records and the student advising program.  She is also business instructor.

Bill and Shelley, Co-Program Directors and Business Instructors.

Wayne Saville, LMBT, Substitute Instructor. Wayne was the former Director of Massage at GTCC, hired in July 1997 and remained in the position until 2006 when he took a position on the NC Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy.  

Cynthia Loving, LMBT, Instructor.  Cynthia teaches the Introduction to Aromatherapy as an independent contractor.    Cynthia has taught at GTCC, Body Therapy Institute and Natural Touch School of Massage for years and is a CE national provider for 10+ years teaching internationally.

Ross Cox, Guest Teacher.  Ross is a business professional coach that teaches 3 hours of Business 3 on proprietary, cutting edge information concerning Client Leads, Conversation Rate, Number of Transactions, Average Dollar Sales, etc.  This is a dynamic part of our Business 3 program that will benefit the graduate that starts their own practice or the graduate that chooses to work in a team/employment setting.
