Faculty and Instructional Staff

 Lesley Hobbs, Business Manager of the Kneaded Energy Companies.  Lesley runs the private practice of Kneaded Energy and acts as Registrar for the Kneaded Energy School of Massage, managing finances and student files.

 Nancy Triplett, BS, LMBT Director of Education and Instructor. Nancy manages the school, the Student Clinic, hires the instructors and also teaches all 3 Student Synthesis classes for the program. 

 Sue Walker, LMBT, Lead Instructor.  Sue is a fulltime lead instructor.  Sue is the lead instructor in Massage Therapy 1 and has experience with both Massage 1 and 2, Hydrotherapy and Student Clinics.

 Gerald Shean, LMBT, Lead Instructor.  Gerald is the fulltime lead instructor in Massage Therapy 2 and Common Conditions and Sports Massage.  Gerald has taught Massage 1 and 2, Common Conditions and Student Clinics. 

 Malia Grimes, PT, MS, LMBT, Lead Instructor for the science courses.  Malia is a licensed Physical Therapy and LMBT.  She teaches or supervises the teaching of Anatomy and Physiology I and II and MuscularSkeletal I and II.  She assists with Massage Therapy I and II and Student Clinics. 

 Laura Griffin, LMBT, Instructor.  Laura assists with Massage I and II and Student Clinic. 

 Wayne Saville, LMBT, Instructor, Wayne teaches NC Law and Ethics and assists with Massage I and II.  Wayne is the former Director of Massage at GTCC and was hired in July 1997.  When he left that position in 2006 he remained on as an instructor.

 Pam Phillips, BS, LMBT, Instructor.  Pam teaches under Malia in the evening classes of Anatomy and Physiology I and II and MuscularSkeletal I and II.

Cynthia Loving, LMBT, Instructor.  Cynthia teaches the Introduction to Aromatherapy as an independent contractor.    Cynthia has taught at GTCC, Body Therapy Institute and Natural Touch School of Massage for years and is a CE national provider for 10+ years teaching internationally.

Ross Cox, Guest Teacher.  Ross is a business professional coach that teaches 3 hours of Business 3 on proprietary, cutting edge information concerning Client Leads, Conversation Rate, Number of Transactions, Average Dollar Sales, etc.  This is a dynamic part of our Business 3 program that will benefit the graduate that starts their own practice or the graduate that chooses to work in a team/employment setting. 

Teaching Assistants

 Mary Ann Karlok, BA, LMBT, Teaching Assistant. Mary Ann assists with Massage I and II, Common Conditions, Aromatherapy and Student Clinic.  Mary Ann also assists with the pre-professional orientation

 Michael Dombroski, MBA, BS, LMBT, Teaching Assistant. Michael assists with Massage I and II, Common Conditions, Chair Massage and Student Clinics.  Michael teaches Sports Massage, First Aid and CPR.

 Kerry Smith, LMBT, Teaching Assistant. Kerry assists with Massage I and II, Common Conditions and Student Clinic.
