When we get a request for location in your area, we call those therapists we have heard from first. Secondly we search on AMTA and ABMP for therapists in those areas. We require our therapists to carry professional liability insurance, if you don't hold your membership through one of these organizations, we don't have a way of finding you without you contacting us. Thirdly we contact local massage schools for names of therapists looking to build their business.
We try to book each event for a 4 hour minimum, however, we won't turn work away because of this requirement. We pay the therapist an hourly fee dependent upon what we are able to charge. Travel charges, toll charges and parking fees are your responsibility, except in extreme, pre-approved cases. We expect all of our contract therapists to act professionally. We expect all of our contract therapists to arrive between 20-30 minutes before the event starts to ensure the coordinator can rest assured that you will be attending.
