Our science curriculum covers all the requirements of Anatomy and Physiology, Muscular-Skeletal and Pathology requirements. Students learn in a series of sequentially organized classes that integrate with one another.
Fundamental Knowledge of Human Anatomy, Physiology, Muscular-Skeletal and Pathology
Physiology Focus on kinesiology– study the mechanics of how things work in relation to human movement
Pathology – focus on pathologies most commonly seen by massage therapists
Focus on soft tissue structures primarily treated by massage therapists
Location and palpation of structures
Application of specific anatomy through postural assessment, range of motion and stretching
Focus on clinical reasoning process
