Couples Massage Class

This class is limited to 10 couples or pairs of friends.

The class is 3 hours in length.  We encourage you to wear stretchy, comfortable clothing. 

The first half of the class is taught by Bill and Shelley in classroom style, covering the basic massage strokes.  We discuss how to use them, when to use them, how to modify them to accomodate your hands, strength, and body size.  The class is fun, humorous and light hearted.  We have chairs set up for the classroom segement, but you are welcome to pile down onto the floor if that makes you more comfortable, so feel free to bring a pillow or blanket. 

The second half of the class we break out into private treatment rooms.  Each couple/pair is assigned their own private treatment room.  This allows for each 1/2 of the couple to both give and receive massage for 30-40 minutes.  A professional massage therapist is assigned to 2-3 treatment rooms to supervise, check in with each couple periodically and assist in bringing your new found knowledge of massage into practice. 

At the end of the class, we meet back together, discuss briefly problems or accomplishments of the treatment room time and answer any final questions.

The cost of the class is $75 per couple.  ($99 when enrolled through UNCG Call Catalog)  Each couple will receive instruction sheet, discount coupons and a small bottle of oil to use at home.
